Bethel Church are pleased to offer this FREE six week parenting course which is written by Care for the Family
It is an excellent opportunity to hear some useful advice, tips and encouragements, to chat with other parents and to support each other in what is one of the hardest jobs around. The course is facilitated by Jane Stanford, a mother of four, who has a passion to help other parents to feel confident in raising their children.
The course is currently run online, where we can spend time as a small group of 6-8, listening to experienced presenters via shared films, and discussing the issues raised. The course is suitable for individuals or couples. Each session lasts approx 60-90mins, and can be organised around your circumstances.

Parentalk – The Primary Years
Being a parent is one of life’s greatest joys, but it is also one of its biggest challenges. There’s hardly a mum or dad on the face of the earth who, at times, is not overawed by the task of parenting.
Parentalk is for parents of children aged up to the early teenage years, giving you the opportunity to talk about the day-to-day challenges you face, as well as sharing the things that are going well.
It’s not just about me

what They’re Saying
The Parentalk course has been a really supportive place to share experiences about the challenges of being a parent and in my case a single parent.
I come away from each session with ideas and tips but more importantly feeling like I am not alone and encouraged to keep trying to do my best.
A great opportunity to share the good, the bad and the ugly and know that you’re not alone. You’ll be introduced to fantastic tools on how to be the best parent you can be, through really useful videos from Care for the Family.
When I was invited to Parentalk, I was not sure of what to expect, however as the weeks progressed, I looked forward to each session and made every effort not to miss one. Parentalk was great for reminding me that I’m not the only mother who finds parenting hard. The course helped me slow life down and communicate with my daughter.
At the time I had a newborn and was struggling to find time for my daughter and felt guilty for this. I remember after one of the sessions, I lay with her and fell asleep, because that is what she needed and I hadn’t realised that is what I needed too. It’s a fantastic course that I strongly recommend to all mothers/fathers.
